Hi Team,
We have installed the Agent Client Collector on Windows Machine, Now we are able to see the Installation Data, but we have found Multiple Serial Number types under the [cmdb_serial_number] table.
We are not able to understand, what is the use of Multiple Serial Number type/table, that are coming with the help of Agent Client Collector.
Attached Screenshot for your reference.

Hi,
Infrastructure like servers, storage servers etc have multiple serial number associated with it. These serial numbers can be:
physical serial
board serial
chassis serial
bios
system etc
and each have their own significance depending on the infrastructure. For ex. chassis serial represent the serial number of the physical chassis in which the server resides.
The pattern based discovery (for windows server as example) discovers different serial number types and attach them to the server via reference.
Not sure about ACC's role here.
Hope this helps !!
Thanks

+1 on the comments from Abhishek. The ACC will collect the same set of attributes as the Windows discovery pattern.
One thing though I noticed on your screenshot: apparently there is a duplicate for the system serial number with same value, both marked as valid. Do you have any customization in that serial numbers table, IRE, business rule or anything? This should be sorted out before release to production, so you may want to open a HI ticket if you can't find the root cause.
