When i'm trying to open reference table (ex-portfolio)with end user( no roles) getting error like "Security constraints prevent access to requested page" -- i need to resolve this issue without using ACL's-- if any one knows please reply back.

Sorry no, That would be a security issue if there was a way for people to see records without read permission. Think of the HR implications.
I know that's not the answer you were looking for, but that is the answer required to solve your problem.

Hi,
This is the system's way of saying "You cannot go here with your current roles." It is not really an issue.
What did you have in mind?

The answer to you requirements is to update the ACLs to give the non-roled users read access.
I know you said you didn't want to use ACLs, but the fact of the matter is, if you want them to see the portfolio list, they need read access.
