Hey guys,
Just wondering if we can run TELNET from the MID server? I created a couple of records in the ECC queue and it works fine, but telnet is failing.
The idea is to read the data returned by the telnet command via a sensor.

There's this great section in Tom Clancy's Cardinal of the Kremlin where the Americans and the Russians are both working on high powered lasers. The Americans say, focusing the beam is easy, but raw power is hard. The Soviets say power is trivial, but dealing with the blooming is impossible.
Darned if I know how you would get a TCP probe to fly, but if you can, why can't you just create an IP Service and a port probe and associate it with the "Generic TCP" scanner to make it Shazzam and then add a classifier based on the results?
