I have a general question about service mapping licenses. Currently how a service mapping is licensed ?

per entry point  or 

per service or

per node

Converting business services to application services do not require Service Mapping

Application Services is directly accessible from the CMDB and not exclusive to the Service Mapping product.

ITOM Visibility and APM are 2 different things. Convert to an Application Service takes manual services (cmdb_ci_service_manual) to an Application Service (cmdb_ci_service_discovered). Note manual services are being deprecated in NY.

Licensing for ITOM visibility is on CIs discovered. KBA0748149 (https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0748149) describes this licensing.
