Service Mapping query

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question regarding Service Mapping implementation. Our MID Server is hosted on-premises, while the entry point for the service is a SaaS platform URL. I’d like to understand what requirements or configurations are needed to ensure the MID Server can successfully connect to the SaaS platform and build the service map.

Do you have any insights on the level of access required to access the web URL entry points?

Before you jump it to service mapping you need to do horizontal discovery.  Where ever the entry point is hosted you have to discover it. Discovery wise you need firewall to allow the connection from mid to resource, if it needs permission to query then credentials will be needed too.
