Software installation & software Instance table data migration without SAM

Currently discovery is updating both software installation table [cmdb_sam_sw_install] and software instance table [cmdb_software_instance].

SAM is not yet activated in our system.

Is there any possible way to migrate the data from software instance table to Software installation table without the SAM plugin?
