TSOM Telecom Pattern – Updating ifAlias with Interface Description

Hi All,

We are working on a use case where we need to update the ifAlias with the short description of a router interface as part of a TSOM telecom router pattern.

As part of this, do we need to extend the telecom pattern by adding some custom attributes to support this requirement.

Has anyone implemented a similar use case in TSOM?
Could you please share the recommended approach to achieve this in the router pattern?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Use new telco patterns. They are getting slot and card level information.
