TuneUp your CMDB accelerator questions

I'm curious to learn more about the TuneUp accelerator for CMDB. Has anyone in this group taken part in this program? What is the cost? Are there metrics or steps that can be run as a kind of "poor mans" approach to the evaluation? How long does the operation take?

 

It sounds like a great way to get an empirical evaluation of the maturity of a CMDB but need to know more about the measurements, cost, and time commitment.

I haven't used it myself, so for that you will have to wait for others to answer, but it is part of Impact Guided, Advanced and Total, so you will need to contact your ServiceNow account manager for pricing (it is part of the package, so not a product you can just buy or have run once). The problem with ServiceNow pricing is that only your sales rep can give you an answer that makes sense (if you are lucky), but any answer from the community can only be seen as 'for us it is this, but it can be a lot more or less for you'.

 

If you don't have Impact, I think you need to get your company around the table with ServiceNow to see if the package they offer will be worth it, before you start looking into specifically this accelerator. Because if it is just for this, I think the price will be too high.

How do specifics on cost vary, depending on the provider? ServiceNow is providing this as part of the Impact program. There is only one provider.
