vCenter simulator

Hello,

VMware has vCenter simulator named 'vcsim'.

Has anyone been able to discovery vcsim as a vCenter?
If you think it is unable, what is the reason?

I have not tried and tested this but to Start with are we able to Test and Validate the Credentials?
