HI Community,
We are trying to discover few Linux servers in ServiceNow. Credentials are working fine and port 22 is already opened. When we ran a quick discovery for these Linux servers we are getting below warnings:
->Cannot connect, status is TCP_CONNECTION_FAILURE. Failed to connect TCP: Connection timed out: no further information.
->SSHTerminalInteractiveCommand: failed to execute: com.snc.sw.exception.ConnectionFailureException: Failed to establish SSH connection to "IP address" connect timed out.
For more details please find attached screenshot.
We need your suggestion, how can we fix this issue.
Thanks and regards,
Nikhil

Please get in touch with your network team and work on firewall rules etc. You can check logs at mid server console as well to get more detail about the errors.

Hi @Nikhil kumar ma,
I would try the following first:
- Network access still valid (Firewalls open to discover the systems?)
- Review Credentials & test them
- Update Discovery/Service Mapping Patterns
- Check Agent.log & Wrapper.log from the MID Server at time of Discovery
Some of those checks are quite simple - I know - but I experienced really strange behaviors and at the end it was either some blocked traffic or wrong User/PWD. Hope this helps.
