We have been asked to make sure that what we have in CMDB for our Virtual IP addresses used for a clustered Microsoft SQL server matches what has been entered into the monitoring tool. Current it is coming through with name
SQL IP Address 1 (name of Vip assigned by team). This VIP connects to a Cluster using a different name. Is there a way to change so that when discovering the Virtual IP address it will populate with only the name of the VIP, not the prefix of SQL IP Address 1?
