Improve the problem life cycle.
Last time we looked at what was new in Quebec.
What’s new at a glance in Rome:
- Renamed Start Fix to Fix
- Mark duplicate can move over associated Problem Tasks
- Enhancement to the Assign to me list action
Start Fix action renamed to Fix
The Start Fix UI action has been renamed to Fix. You can select this UI action to move the problem record to the Fix in Progress phase.
Note: The naming is now consistent with the other lifecycle actions: Assess, Confirm, Resolve and Complete.
Mark duplicate can move over associated problem tasks
Optionally move problem task records along with the related incidents of a problem that is marked as a duplicate of another problem.
This is controlled by the problem.duplicate.records_to_move property:
Example that will move incidents, cases and problem tasks:
incident.problem_id,sn_customerservice_case.problem,problem_task.problem
Note: You will see a warning in the Mark Duplicate modal if you select a closed problem as the Duplicate of and problem.closed.cancel_open_tasks = true because all of the problem tasks will be moved over and then canceled.
Enhancement to the Assign to me list action
The Assign to me action in the Problem lists will confirm that you are part of the assignment group before assigning the problem to you.
Refer to the release notes for more details.
