I have noticed that when we go to more options [ more options is on right corner upside ( . . . )] in a RITM and by clicking "Email" button. The notification that an email was sent is added as a work note even if no email was sent. The work note should be added only when the email is sent.
Basically when you hit the ellipsis ( . . . ) and click email and then close the window it gives that comment, is it possible to only trigger that comment when the button "send" is pressed?
How to resolve this issue ?

Hi, unfortunately your post does not make your issue or configuration clear.
Checking quickly in a PDI by opening the quick message window and closing it via 'X' without 'sending' an email, does not appear to result in any triggered functionality.
Wording of the work_note in your screenshot seems to indicate that this was not taken from the RITM record?
Is this functionality OOB or custom? What are the results of your investigation\diagnostics?
You could use Studio search to try and find the script responsible for (some of) the text in your screenshot.
