Approval is not triggering through workflow.

Hi All,

 

I have a workflow on Madrid Version .Approvals are not getting triggered to the users, groups even if they are active. I dont have an Custom BR running on the RITM table. When i was checking on product documentation , i got the info as  Approval is required for new requests in the applications Configuration screen need to be selected, else the request moves to the next  configured state.

 

Please help me how to fix this as the approval is getting skipped moving to the next stage.

Does the catalog item that you are testing with have the correct workflow showing in the workflow field?  Also, can you post a screenshot of the workflow you are using?

Hi,

 

It is redirecting to correct workflow. But Approver User workflow activity always  gets skipped even though User/Group is active.  Please find the screenshot of workflow

Approvals can be skipped if they don't have a person/group to send to. Is your approval scripted or do you have the approvers filled out on the workflow activity? 

The user and group are available and active on servicenow. Its not scripted approval. I am using Approval User workflow activity and gave the User to whom the approval should be triggered
