As a Service Desk Analyst, I would like to be able to use the List View's preview icon to view the details of an Incident in a popup window so that I can quickly scan Incidents without opening each one.

I am able to use the List View's preview icon to view the details of an Incident in a popup window. When viewing an existing Incident in the list popup view, the form should appear as follows: Number, State ,Caller, On hold reason (only display when State = On hold) Affected user, Priority ,Contact type ,Assignment group ,Business service, Assigned to Service Offering, Configuration item, Short Description, Description ,All fields should be read only.

 

In Incident preview pop up menu i need to modify and want make it as read only.

Can you provide your solutions ASAP.

Hi,

in the preview i.e. sys_popup view by default fields are readonly

Also remember UI policy or client script doesn't run on that sys_popup view hence this is not possible

On hold reason (only display when State = On hold)

You can configure which fields to show in that view

Popup view of a reference field is not showing the expected form layout of the configured sys_popup ...
