any other UI policy is making it non-mandatory in QA?
what debugging did you do?

Hello @suresh kaliappa ,
were there any issue in Update set while Preview?
Also try manually recreate the same script directly in QA, if it works perfectly. Same code, same settings !
If my response helped mark as helpful and accept the solution.

Check if your QA instance has any existing Data Policy /UI Policy running on the assigned_to field.
If yes, it can override your Client Script as you know UI Policies usually run after Client Scripts.
