Hi,
I'm trying to solve an issue for one of our customers. I'm stuck and need some advice 🙂
When an itil-type group is chosen as Assignment group there is no records to display in Assigned to. The group contains several itil users and type (sys_user_group_type) is 'itil'.
Assigned to's dictionary (task.assigned_to) is OOB:
Dependent on: assignment_group
Simple reference qualifier: Roles is itil
The problem is present for all the tables that extends Task and there is no dictionary overrides for these tables.
If I remove the assignment_group dependency all itil users becomes available in the Assigned to reference field (regardless of group).
How does the 'Dependent on' functionality work? Where should I start troubleshooting? 🙂
Solved! Go to Solution.

Forgot to follow up here..sorry!
The reason for this issue was that I had created a custom sys_user_group reference field in sys_user. The 'Dependent' field did not like that 🙂

Can the user in question read the Group Member table (sys_user_grmember)? I believe out of the box, only users with specific roles can read that table.

Yes the user can read sys_user_grmember. I am experiencing the issue with my admin user as well.

Hi,
To be sure, can you check the dictionary overrides for those tables. Is there any issue there.
Is there any custom ACL added on this.
Thanks,
Ashutosh
