Bigpanda is displaying sys_id of reference fields post upgrade to version 2.8

Hi All,
we currently have the servicenow-bigpanda integration version 2.5. i am working on upgrading it to version 2.8. I have followed the instructions in the document below and configured it,the connection is working fine and the alert is creating an incident as intended.Once incident created and we check on Bigpanda, we see that few fields such as managed by, owned by(which is cmdb data from Servicenow that Bigpanda exports) is showing sys_id instead of the display value. it is working fine is production(with 2.5 version). All configurations are same. any idea on how i can proceed to fix this?
