Hello experts,
I'm a little confused about bundling.
I have hardware models setup. If I create a bundle (model category set as bundle), add items to it (ie Surface Pro and a consumable) and publish the bundle, should it not add both items to the cart if it's selected in the service catalog? Is that not its purpose? Is it an asset feature instead?

Simple answer, yes, when you order a bundle all the catalog items will be ordered. Are you seeing any difference in this behavior?

Yes. They're not being added together to the request or the cart. It's only the primary item. I have an entry in the includes related list as well. I'm pretty sure I'm following the instructions correctly found on the bundling section of the docs page. Otherwise I'm missing a step or a configuration.

Hi,
you are correct. Bundle models is a asset only feature and used to assign multiple assets through the request process. (in most cases as part of transfer order)
You could write a script in your request WF to add all the bundle models into separate request items, but take the transfer order into consideration.
