Hi All

CAB Workbench :: How do I send meeting invitees in advance to the Board Members to book their Outlook calendars in advance. 

Is there any notification which goes out from ServiceNow.

Please provide screen shots for the solution.

OOTB there is only when one way that via Send meeting Invite UI action, either use that or create a flow where as soon as any record get inserted in CAB meeting, send the invite to CAB board member.

If we send the meeting invite by clicking “Send meeting request to attendees”, does it send the meeting invite to attendees in Microsoft Teams as well?

Our requirement is as follows:
When the Change Manager creates the CAB meeting in ServiceNow and clicks the “Send meeting request to attendees” UI action, it should:

• Send the email notification (this is working), and
• Also send the Microsoft Teams meeting invite to the attendees.

Could you please help us with this?

Hi @lvenna 

It will send the invite only via email, as per my understanding, and the email/Outlook account is primarily linked to the user profile. For sending invites via Microsoft Teams, we may need to check if any specific trigger or action is available for this in Power Automate or the system configuration.

About this task

You can send meeting invitations from a CAB meeting only.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the CAB meeting for which you want to send out invitations using one of the following steps.Option DescriptionOpen from the CAB meeting listOpen from the CAB definition list

   Navigate to Change > Change Advisory Board > All CAB meetings. Select and open the CAB meeting to modify.

   Navigate to Change > Change Advisory Board > All CAB definitions. Select and open the CAB definition to send out the meeting request. Select and open the specific CAB meeting to modify.

2. Click the Send meeting request to attendees related link.
   The CAB meeting invitation is sent to all listed attendees.
