Hi Team,
I have created a Record producer named "Hyper care Support incident " and placed in the service Catalog list, Managemen has requested the same form to display on the service catallog with a different Name " BAU Support incident" I just click on a copy so another form was generated naming " copy Hyper care Support incident", now I renamed it as " BAU Support incident" I have redirected this tickets to a different team by providing default value in "assignment group" variable. so both record producers are working fine.
when I move this to configuration to Test instance. will I get any issue, as we are using same variable, same catalog script, same catalog UI Policies, will it say duplicate or something any issue will come?
Will copy record producer work?
Please help.

Hi,
even if you copy the record producer the variables will be tied to individual record producer
so that's fine even if same variable name is present in both the record producer.

Hi,
I have tried the same approach in my PDI and tried submitting both the forms were submitted successfully and have verified as well, while copying it does create variables and other scripts with a new Sys id so it should be fine.

For example, if you open the variables or catalog client script of both Record producer you will see differerent Sys ID tagged to it by looking at the URL as shown below:
