can we create alert suppression rules without using itom(event management)?

hi all,

I want to create alert suppression rule without using event management (ITOM), like the system is integrated with zabbix and will get alert report from zabbix, so depending on CI or summary, can we create any rule where we can filter duplicate alert and categories primary and secondary kind of alerts and depending on we can create incident to resolve the issue?

Hi @rajatd-exte,

So you are saying you want to build the Event Management capability from scratch?

Technically you can, but that will require a lot of customization and this could be a breach of licensing, you may want to run it by your Account Manager before implementing it.

Not the full capability just want to filter the alerts coming from zabbix to remove duplicate alerts? is it possible through BR? if yes then how?
