Can you add 'Tags' as a filed on Task based forms?

Hi ServiceNow community,

One of our ITIL team members approached us asking to display Tags (sort of list collector?) on forms rather than items under "More options (3 dots on grey bar)". We use tags quite extensively so we do not want to create a new field as list collector but rather we simply display what is already there. I believe all our teams will benefit but unsure how we go about it. 

Please advise if anyone has done or know how to accomplish this.

If you want to see the tags on the form, the only way is to create a new List field and copy the tags in there.

Hi Carrie,

Tags are in a different table not related to the task table.

Table label_entry contains the link between the task type record and the tag label.

I can see potential to load them on 'Records', but not sure if they can be put on the form. Do you know the answer?

Hi Carrie,

The way to use Tags on a form is via the 3-dot icon (...) at the top.  See this example with 2 tags I added on an incident:
