Can you copy and paste attachments into a ServiceNow ticket

Hi ServiceNow Community Developers,

Do you know if there is a way to copy and paste attachments into a serviceNow ticket without using the current oob functionality whereby you click the attachment icon and then look for the attachment and then upload it. Our users are complaining about the number of steps / clicks that are involved when one needs to attach something to a ticket, their feeling are that there are too many steps involved – what they would prefer would be to just go to an attachment and copy it and then come back to the platform and paste it and it gets attached that way.

I tried the ServiceNow Utils which has browser extension that you can install however that requires each user to do so on their machines and because some of ours don’t have administrative rights to do so in their computers that solution is therefore not feasible for us.

Kindly advise please if what I am trying to accomplish here is possible in ServiceNow.

Copy/paste functionality is currently not available OOTB in ServiceNow. However, you can attach files to any ticket by drag and drop. You can drag the file from your Desktop/file explorer and drop it in ticket header in form view. Same you can do in portal standard ticket view.
