Can you link Service Portfolio / Service Offerings to Catalogue Request Items?

I am currently designing an ITOM focused Service Catalogue in a greenfield ServiceNow Implementation and am trying to understand how the Service Portfolio Management elements interact with other areas in ServiceNow - all the documentation seems to tell you is how to configure the different components, not how they relate to each other and to other modules.
I am working on a Jakarta instance and have enabled the Service Portfolio Management Plugin which has added the Business Service module with Business Service Catalogue view, Service Offerings and commitments etc, as well as.
We have mapped all the business Services and the relationships between them, and also the applications that support them in an Enterprise Architecture Modelling tool that I can import data from to build out the Business services in ServiceNow.
I would like to create Service Offerings against each Service representing the different versions of the Service (similar to Gold — Silver — Bronze options) with Costs, Ownerships, defined scope etc. and then assign the relevant commitments such as for availability, P1-5 resolution targets, etc. so that end users can browse / search via the service portal for the Business service and then see and select the different offerings available to them.
I have managed to model the above out in my dev instance, but there does not then seem to be any way to link the offerings displayed in the Business service catalog to the requestable items in the Service catalog associated to that offering so that an end user can just click on through to order the offering they select.
There are elements like Catalog_Specs_card that are displaying the offering info, but no information on how you could edit the detail shown on that card, or how you might add either a link to a Service Catalog Category, or list related individual request items to that card as clickable links.
My questions are
Has anyone done similar?
Is there any further documentation on how to implement Service Portfolio Management and integrate with the Service Portal catalogue? ( a guided setup / implementation guide for Service Portfolio Management)
Can you edit the catalog_specs_card and add links to Request Items?
Can you use User Criteria against Service Offerings to manage entitlement and viability?
How do the Service Offerings then relate to other modules like Event management, Performance analytics, etc?
