Catalog item remains in draft state after submission

Hello,

I am working on a scoped application where I published a catalog item. Then now, I would like to modify the catalog item. After editing in the catalog builder and submitting it, the state goes from checkout to publishing then back to draft again.

I found this KB (https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB1122801), when I click on "cancel checkout" it deletes the temporary copy of the catalog item and when I edit it in the catalog builder, it repeats the same thing again (draft)

Can anyone help me with this?

Thank you & regards

Kader

Just for anyone who could benefit from it.

It finally got resolved. I checked the logs and found this "The catalog item  has more than one variable with the name priority associated with it either directly or through variable sets linked to the item. Keep the names of variables associated with a catalog item unique". I checked my variable sets and found a set with empty name ..., after deleting it, the issue got resolved.

Thanks
