Change Calendar Weekly View

Within our company we make use of the change calendar quite a bit, and i'm having a bit of trouble figuring something out. I made that change calendar public, and have created a guage on the ITIL homepage for displaying the calendar upon logging in to Service-now. The calendar, when set up, was added to that homepage while in the "weekly" view, which is exactly what we want. The problem is, whenever a user logs into the system, they are defaulted to see the first week of the year (which seems to correspond to the week that the gauge was added to the homepage).

Is there a special setting that need to be put in the background to get this gauge/report to open to the current week by default on the homepage?

I can confirm that if I just open the report, and click into the weekly view in the regular report viewer, the calendar goes to the correct week. So it must have something to do with the gauge?

KB0724525 : How to set persistent highlighting for calendar reports on homepage or dashboards

Navigate to Homepage Admin > Pages.
Click the homepage or dashboard title where the calendar report is located.
Click the Dropzone the calendar report type is listed under.
Click New to define a new portal preference.
Complete these fields:

Name : sysparm_calview
Value : week

This "calstyle", "calview", etc. where does it come from? How to look it up? I understand the prefix "cal" (= calender), but is there somewhere enlisted which "suffixes" ("view", "style", etc.) are for what?
