Change Report Owner

I have several reports that were created by a person who has set them up to be shared with multiple people, and also scheduled them to be emailed. The person has left the company, and I would like to transfer the report to a new "owner" Is there a way to assign this to a new person so as to not recreate everything?

All you need to do is open the list of all reports, find the relevant report and change the value in User column to the sys_id of the new owner. To find out the sys_id of a user, open their user record, right-click the form header and select Copy sys_id option.

UPD: By default, list editing is disabled for Reports table. You can enable it by selecting Configure > List Control from the list header context menu and changing the value of "List edit type" field from "Disable list editing" to "Save immediately".

Unfortunately this did not work. What it did is break all the list of people this was shared with, and did not give the person the ability to share either.

I am sorry it did not solve your problem. To allow the new user to share reports with others, assign 'report_group' role to him/her.

There is a UI policy that prevents the user field from being modified. Make the following inactive to be able to change that field:

https://INSTANCE.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sys_ui_policy.do?sys_id=0d7863a3c3231100fda53b251eba8...

Note: Replace instance with your instance

Once that UI Policy is inactive you should be able to update it using Slava's method or you can add the field to the form and change it that way.
