configure fields in 'Summary of Item being approved' formater that are visible for change manager while approving a standard change proposal ?

Hi All,

As of OFB,if there is a request for standard change template proposal the request will be going to change manager for approval at that time he can see only some fields from that record of template for which he is going to give approval or reject.Here he is not getting opportunity to see what that template fields contains.I have a requirement to showcase all the fields that come from template to change request for the change manager when he opens the form to give approval.

If anyone have knowledge in it,help me in solving this.

This should be pulling a view of the Standard Change Proposal form called "approval" so, if you don't have one of those, you will need to create it. There should be one out of the box, so you should be able to just configure the existing one. You can edit this form view by going to the Standard Change Proposal form, clicking the menu icon, and then selecting Configure > Form Layout. On the resulting page, locate the View Name dropdown and select "Approval." Arrange the fields on the form as appropriate. (The formatter on the approval form will only show a single section (the top one) of the table of the record you're approving, so make sure your Approval view of the Standard Change Proposal form only has a single section and all of the necessary fields are in that section.)

Hi Tim,

As you said i have done it in my personal dev instance,here after that i am getting 'change request values' field in requested form.But since that field type is in template view type it is showing differently and it is not as per my expectation.Can you help me in this.

I don't think there is any way around that. The fields are stored as a single field as a string, which is how it's displayed on the read-only summarizer. 

I think you're talking about a pretty tricky custom UI macro to make that work the way you want it to.

Yes what you understood is correct,i need it in the way that each field in the template of 'change request values' field should be displayed as seperate fields in the summarizer ui formatter.If you have idea on it help me.
