Contract [ast_contract] - How do I progress the state past 'Draft'?

Hello,

The image below is OOTB Rome. Beth Anglin created the contract and Charlie Witherspoon has just approved it. The contract is still in a 'Draft' state. I am unsure what Beth needs to do at this point to progress the contract State field?

Hi,

The contract will switch from draft to active once the 'Start Date' is reached...per the above screen shot that will be 28/7/22.

Hi,

Not sure why the change of contract start date did not immediately update the state to active - the business rule 'Manage Contract Lifecycle' should have run.

Those OOTB other contracts have an Expiration flag of 'Expired'. Their state is still draft as they had not been in an active state by the time the contract end date was reached.

It did run, but the OOTB instance must be based in America. I live in Australia, so it was probably 12hrs or so behind. I have been running this on my own instance and can see that it does update at the date I was expecting. Thanks for your help Angc. I marked your original post as the correct answer.
