Is there a way to copy a custom table from one instance to other, without a clone?
The update set with all the relative data was committed but finish with a lot of errors.
We would have to create a new update set that addresses all those errors.

Hi Rachelle,
You can copy data for instance to instance via exporting/importing it as an xml file. In regards to an entire table the best method would be to do it via an update set. This article has the details Exporting and Importing XML Files - ServiceNow Wiki The last note on the page speaks about table to table movement between instances.
Note: If the data does not import, navigate to System Definition > Tables & Columns and verify that the table from which the data was exported also exists in the instance importing the data. If the table does not exist in that instance, you can move it using an update set.

Thanks! I always saw XML import as a way to move data records from one instance to other.
Didn't know if it was safe for field records on a table; data dictionary entries

Hi folks, All good ideas here. Take a look at what we have developed at Perspectium. ServiceNow administrators can use Replicator for ServiceNow to replicate and synchronize your production data with other ServiceNow instances. We can help you reduce the frequency and eliminate the need to clone. Message me directly if you would like to learn more.
