I spend most of my time in change management and I find that towards the end of the day when I open a change, the view is incorrect. If I go to the view submenu, Default view isn't ticked, in fact no item is ticked. If I select Default view then it works again. Next day it will be fine at the start of the day then start doing it again later on. I use MS Edge, our ServiceNow is Utah, and I've tried clearing the cache on my PC, using the cache.do option and a ServiceNow admin has killed user scripts(?). We haven't tried clearing my user preferences, but wondering if there is something simple that I'm missing.

Hi Richard,
It seems the view is getting overridden because of some or other activities that you are performing. Well it will be quite difficult to figure out on what actions you take when access the platform, however, you can check for user preferences to understand if something overrides the selection you do for the layout.

Thank you for that. Wouldn't this change the view for everyone though? As far as I'm aware, I am the only person experiencing this.

I am agree with @Jaspal Singh please check is any other view rule./ BR which is override the view everytime.
