Default view not ticked

I spend most of my time in change management and I find that towards the end of the day when I open a change, the view is incorrect. If I go to the view submenu, Default view isn't ticked, in fact no item is ticked. If I select Default view then it works again.  Next day it will be fine at the start of the day then start doing it again later on. I use MS Edge, our ServiceNow is Utah, and I've tried clearing the cache on my PC, using the cache.do option and a ServiceNow admin has killed user scripts(?).  We haven't tried clearing my user preferences, but wondering if there is something simple that I'm missing.

Thank you for the feedback. I've checked my user preferences and the change_request.view one will update successfully if I actively alter it, but it is blank when I return it to default view which I guess is the correct behavior.  I shall have to see if any business rules have altered recently that might have done something, but it would still be odd for it to only affect me.
