Dictionary Override - 'Unique'

Is it possible to apply a dictionary override to a field on task to set the 'Unique' checkbox?

Use case, I want problems to have unique short descriptions to improve differentiation between problems.

I don't think so. If that option is not there in dictionary override form then you cannot do that.
