Hi,
Difference among Consumable and Non Consumable Asset
Consumable: In general Accessories to Non consumable e.g mouse, keyboard, toner+Tracked Quantitatively i.e not tracked individually, but as a group of the same model+No attribute such as 'location'+Mostly at same location+Order whole consumable item at once in a single order.
Non Consumable:- In general Upfront Items such as Computer,Printer+Tracked by location and status 'location' attribute is highly important CAN be tracked individually+To move you have can't place a single order, because of Location and Working Status differ. so that each configuration item can change its status and stockroom location independently.
