Can someone provided examples of what a fixed asset is? The documentation provides a definition but no real examples: A fixed asset is a container that holds one or more individual assets, including hardware or software assets.
An example of a fixed asset would help me better understand how and when to use fixed assets. Thanks!

Would you recommend the same granular approach for non-IT assets being tracked in Service Now? Or stick with Fixed Assets for items like: Buildings, Bridges, Parking Lots, Streetlights? Each will have to have traditional asset data elements (Owner, Location, Department, Cost, Depreciation, Retirement Date, etc...) associated with them too. I'm trying to figure out the best approach for "assets" like these, i.e. do I go with Fixed Assets or should I setup unique model categories and asset classes to track and manage these in Service Now? Any help?
Thanks.
