External content item not opening in the separate tab

Hello All

We have created an content item and We have kept Content type as External content and the Target as New Window/Tab. But it is not opening the URL in separate tab properly, in the employee center.

Hi @GANP 
Could be a cache issue.
Clear both browser and instnace cache & try.
