Hello Guys,

I am going for LDAP integration in service now istanbul, Just wanted to know about best way of it like with mid server or listener or Via orchestration?

later on with the time i have to have Password Reset with in mine instance as well . So i am trying to get the best way to do ?

Hi Mohit,

The best way to start LDAP integration is, place a MID Server in your network and use the existing System LDAP module in ServiceNow with the proper credential.

LDAP integration

If you integrate LDAP successfully, with the proper credential you can reset your AD Password with the OOB Password Reset module. You need to have Orchestration plugin for this.

To do ServiceNow instance password reset you don't need an Orchestration plugin.

LDAP with mid server is better or Listner?

I have checked that LDAP with mid server has some limitations
