Hi,
I found that logged into the "normal" version of the PDI once I changed the user role back to admin. It defaulted to "App Engine Studio Creator" when i got a new PDI. Go to developer.servicenow.com got to your profile(top right corner). In the "Instance actions" section of the "My Instance" part there is the change user role option where you can change the role to admin.
