Hi All,
Basically , we have different group of managers for different KB, so we created individual groups for different KB's and add the members that group and assign a role to group,
So now how can i add that whole group to that knowledge base manager field not individually?
Please help me to complete this
Thanks
Deepika

Hi Deepika,
No !! you cannot.
Manager is a single unit you cannot have whole group to be as manager.

Hi
Thanks for the response
So that means, we need to add all groups members individually as list to that filed, is that correct?

Hi Deepika,
That's right unfortunately ServiceNow does not allow groups to be added but you can multiple users as managers. What we did to overcome the same was to create an ACL that gives the same permission as knowledge managers have to the group so all the group members can update the Knowledge bases. You can unique group name/type to specify a group for a knowledge base (this is purely customization).
Hope the answer has helped you, please mark the answer correct/helpful. Thank you.
