How can we deactivate reports

Hi Everyone -
Can anyone please tell me how can I disable a report. I mean - I want to make some reports "Deactivated" thus no one can see the reports.

You can either delete them or make them available to only you by changing the visibility to 'Me' then no one else can see them.

I have this options in my mind, but is it possible to add Active/Inactive field in report table and filter the reports depend on "Active" only.
Also, another workaround is that: We can have a new custom role for this, and restrict the report depend on that role, I mean when we want to deactivate any report we can assign the report to that particular role only, thus rest of the user(exclude Admin) can't see the report. we can also mark the report to any particular group as well. But I am thinking of any wayout with Active/Inactive.
