how do i remove/hide the SEARCH on the LIST VIEW

I am looking for hiding or removing the search which appears next to the New button on List view.

Hi,

You can hide search icon by setting 'Omit filters' check box to true in the List Control .But it will hide filters as well.

Right-click any header column in list view:

Thank you for your response, but i want the filters to be present and just hide the search icon on the header of list, is that possible?

Hi,

Unfortunately, literally the next two people who posted here...said the exact same thing I did...so it's not very helpful if they aren't reading what has already been posted.

Anyways...if you allow them to use the filter...then they are basically still searching. What is the point of removing the search field then?
