My requirement is i need to create one system user and also whenever system closes any incident the closed by should be the system user i created.
My question is what all basic minimum roles the system user should have also where all i need to update in the system so that whenever any incident is auto closed by system it should show the user i have created.

@Ankur Bawiskar any suggestions?

@Debasis Pati

no role required as you just need to set that user in closed_by

Try giving minimum snc_internal role

I believe I shared a working solution.

@Debasis Pati

is system not closing the resolved INC now?

incident auto-closure is already available OOTB using this BR "incident autoclose"

@Ankur Bawiskar
System closes what i want is i want to create one user and in closed by the created user should show.
i already found this business rule and i can provide the user details directly instead of gr.resolved_by.

i want to know the user i have created do i need to provide any role to that user also is this the only place incidents gets auto closed OOB.(i mean this business rule)

@Debasis Pati

but why not show OOTB System user only there?

Why you want your new user to be seen?

System indicates that it was closed by some automation etc and no manual intervention

Yes that's the only place from where Resolved INCs are closed after x number of days

@Ankur Bawiskar ,
with the business rule whenever the system closes incident from the business rule it sets the closed by with the same user as the resolved by field value that is why for reporting purpose we want to identify how many tickets got closed by the system that i the reason we want to implement this.
