How to update the Banner with the Welcome message?

I edited the welcome mesage here in Paint but have a requirement something like this to add on the ServiceNow Portal as Welcome messgae on the Banner/ Header.

Did you check under Service Portal Configuration and then the branding editor tab?

Please refer to official documentation on branding your service portal which can be used to setup logo, welcome text, default colors, background etc for your portal.

I dont think ServiceNow has something to write on the header like a Welcome.

But What I have tried is create a new image in paint with the logo and the welcome image. This works for now, But I feel there is should be something to update.

Hi there,

Looking at your image, I think you are using the "Stock Header" header widget for your Service Portal. Navigate to:
- Service Portal > Portals
- Select your Portal
- Open the Theme
- Open the Header

If it is the Stock Header widget. This one does not contain such a welcome message. Just have a look at the Body HTML, you simply won't find a welcome message next to the logo.

Obviously, you could clone the widget, and add a welcome message yourself. It's not that hard, just HTML. You could make it more dynamic by putting your message into a System Property for example, but that's up to you.
Though, out-of-the-box Stock Header widget: no such thing.
