How to change the name of update set in test-environment.

I have migrated some update sets to the test environment but there is some name mistake in it , How can change that?

What do you mean by name change in the update set?
Can you share some screenshots.
The name for the update set remains unchanged ideally regardless of different environment.

My query is I have not followed the proper naming convention. as I can modify the name in dev but in test how I can modify it.

If your issue is with only Naming convention, then just follow the below steps.
1. Go the Navigator... System Update Sets -> Local Update Sets
2. Select your update set and just change the name and save it.

Hello,
There are two type of update set in the system Local update set and Retrieved update set:-
If you open the local update set and then search for your update set it will be editable while if you open the same update set from retrieved update set it will be read only.
Also make sure while editing the update set you are in the same scope as the update set else you will see it readonly and see a message like below:-
