I apologize for the multiple questions, but this resource is very helpful for a newbie like myself at an organization just starting off with Service Now.
Anyway, we are trying to change the sequence order of the values as they appear in the drop down. In the instance side, it was easy to do with the updating the sequence number - but in the portal side (what the end users see) it still appears alphabetically and not by the sequence number.
Any guidance on how to control this without adding numerical characters, in the beginning, to have it alphabetical in the way we want? (meaning without adding 01, 02, 03 before the values).
Thanks!

Hi there,
On the variable, have a look at:
Hit the Variable Attributes link. This will provide you with available attributes. Amongst them, ref_ac_order_by which can be used with ref_ac_order_by=field_name
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi,
What type of field is this? Select-box? Lookup? Is this a catalog variable? Or a form field? The portal should still display as it does in the back-end for this exact field. Depending on the field type though...you are unable to change it from listing alphabetically.
