How to create a tab like ESC portal in a customized portal?

Hi All,

 

Requirement: I have to add a tab under the customized portal like we have in ESC portal now.

How do I add this below the header. 

I'm a rookie in ServiceNow, so I'd really appreciate a detailed answer if possible.

You need to create a widget with drop-down and add in page designer above the container1

What you are expecting is part of Employee Center taxonomy configurations.
