How to display 'Variable Sets' variables within an Order Guide for RITM/TASK?

Hi all, thanks in advance for any suggestion.

We have a Order Guide request that has Variable Sets called [Request Information], and this Variable Sets is being shared with other catalog items within the Order Guide or individual item requests.

The problem we are having is...

- We are ABLE to display all the variables in RTIM and SCTASK, except the variables associated to this specific Variable Sets called 'request_information].

Does anyone know why? and what to do to fix the issue?

Are you saying they aren't showing for all RITMS (not talking about sc_task right now) whether those RITMS are order guide or standalone. So both times they're ordered...both order guide and standalone, those variables aren't showing?

Did this randomly just start happening? Or they've never shown?

Is the variable set actually on the catalog item itself? Just because it's on the order guide, you still have to have it on the other catalog items anyway.

If access the catalog item...so before it's a RITM...do the variable set show then?

- The variable sets 'request_information' variables are only used when someone submits a request using the Order Guide.

- Yes, the Veritable Sets are in every catalog item

-- I'm asking do the variables display on the catalog item. Not the request....not the request item....not the catalog task, but the actual catalog item the user would be filling these out on.

Understood, now.  

Yes, the variables are displayed on the Catalog item forms, and the user are able to fill them out.  Overall, the Catalog item forms are functioning as expected.   

Except, after the request is submitted, the variables associated to [Request_information] Variable Sets don't display on the RITM - so that the approval knows what is being requested.  

 

**I did update to make sure the variables are set to Global = true
