How to link tickets on forms

I have built a catalog item that has within the Flow the action to create a Standard Change.

While everything is working as designed, we want the ability to show the Change Request ticket in the Related Lists on the RITM or Request form and the opposite as well, have the Request or RITM display on the Related Lists on the Change record form.

I have added both options to the Related Lists on both forms, but since it's not a UI action creating the Change, it's not linking

Do I need to do another action for this to be automated?

Hi Terrieb,

You would need to bring the parent field to the form on the change request table. Using configure - > form layout.

If you add a requested item as a parent to change request. The related list of RITM will automatically populated with the change request and it will happen vice versa.

Hello Terri,

It depends on the field that establishes the link in the related list. Ex: parent.

Once you establish which is that field, all that remains is to populate it within your flow.

What relation do you have between the RITM and change request? Did you add any reference field?

I tried to add Parent to the Schedule tab on the Change form and all that did was give me the ability to manually search and add a ticket.  

I want it to do this automatically - same with request which I haven't added a reference field to just yet.

Without a reference field or related field which has relation between two tables then adding related list is not possible.
