How to make only one variable on RITM/ SCTASK editable.

Hi All,

I have a requirement to make only a specific variable editable in the variable editor for RITM. Currently all variables on the RITM are read-only. Tried UI policies and Onload client scripts but not working.

Can anyone please suggest any other solution.

You would use UI Policies and Actions for this, with some extra configuration. 

For example, create a UI Policy with no condition. Uncheck the box "applies on catalog items" but check the two boxes for "applies on requested items" and "applies on catalog tasks".

Add UI Actions to the policy for each of your variables with read only set as true, except for the one variable you want to leave editable. 

That should do it.
